The Waverly Gallery

Kenneth Lonergan’s autobiographical play is about a family grappling with the matriarch’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease. The Waverly Gallery is a loving but brutal, and often hilarious, story of the final years of a generous, chatty, life-force of a grandmother’s final battle against Alzheimer’s disease. The play explores her fight to retain her independence and the effect of her decline on her family – especially her grandson.
