Phoenix Staged Reading

In the staged reading of Phoenix, a woman contacts a man four weeks after an uncharacteristic one-night stand, to tell him she’s getting an abortion. She plans to “take care of it” alone and wants nothing further to do with him or a baby. Thus begins a 4,000 mile journey where two people are forced to consider a whole new world of possibilities, though not one free of difficulty and loss.
