A Christmas Memory – Staged Reading
The Alchemy Theatre invited audiences to a special staged reading of A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote—a tender, heartwarming tale that captures the enduring power of friendship and nostalgia. Set in the rural South during the 1930s, the story follows a young boy and his elderly cousin as they share their simple holiday rituals, from baking fruitcakes to flying kites. With Capote’s signature blend of wit and poignancy, this reading offered a moving reflection on love, memory, and the spirit of giving that defines the season.
