Carol holds a B. A. in Theatre from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She studied acting in New York at H.B. Studios and in Los Angeles with Harry Mastrogeorge for seven years. She is the owner and acting coach at The Carol Hickey Acting Studio and the owner and manager of the Mastrogeorge Theatre, both located in Austin.  She co-founded The Canyon Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles and is the winner of two L.A. Weekly Awards and a Backstage West Award for acting in LA.  She is an actress with numerous TV, film, and theatre credits. You can reach Carol at chickey@thealchemytheatre.org.
