Carly Christopher
As a lifelong lover of—and believer in—the power of creative arts, Carly works as a professional actor, producer and writer in Austin and Jackson, WY. As a child, Carly heard her parents regularly ask the question, “What will your contribution to the world be?” This call to action has inspired a deep commitment to supporting the community of Austin, specifically regarding youth, art, and creativity. Carly also sits on the board of Creative Action, a nonprofit that uses the arts as a medium to inspire creativity, unlock potential, and transform the lives of students of all ages while building community and practicing social justice.
A graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Carly spent several years working in the food and beverage industry at KIND Healthy Snacks. Her love of branding and marketing continues via her husband Clayton, food and beverage entrepreneur and investor. When she isn’t storytelling and working with nonprofits, Carly loves being outdoors, traveling and cooking with Clayton, their two children and their yellow lab Betty. Clayton and Carly are passionate about giving and philanthropy. The Christopher Family Foundation focuses on supporting mothers and families, uplifting at-risk youth, preservation of theatre and art, providing education for all and empowering entrepreneurship in future leaders through partnerships with organizations like The Alchemy Theatre, Creative Action, Big Brothers Big Sisters, March of Dimes, and IDEA School.
